  1. He's definitely a combo guard, and me saying that he is going to be better than Rubio says more about what I think about Rubio than what I think about Evans. I can totally see Rubio being Sebastian Telfair 2.0, no problems, while I see Evans as a Rodney Stuckey type guy who will need to learn the PG position first.
  2. Evans is going to be the better player than Rubio anyways.
  3. I WANT DICE-K BACK GET MASTERSON UP
  4. Yawn. You might be the biggest pessimist of them all. If KG was healthy, we most likely would have made the finals. Carter is a career loser, and Shaq will slow down the Cavs and clog the middle for LeBron. With the right small moves, Celtics are still the best team. Bring back Marbury, get Dahantay Jones/Trevor Ariza (Ariza is the perfect guy, but a pipe dream, really), and a long big guy, bring Davis back, bring Powe back. Powe will be healthy around mid-season and will almost be just like making a signing. Perk/FA KG/Davis/Scal/Powe Pierce/FA (Jones/Ariza) Allen/House Rondo/Marbury I'd be baffled if anyone thought that that wasn't the best team in the East.
  5. Don't like this for Cleveland. Shaq will clog up the middle a little too much for LeBron and he'll be shooting way too many jumpshots.
  6. That trade would be completely, 100% stupid. It's a lateral move at best and doesn't make our team any better now or in the future.
  7. After the Rondo/Ray for Hamilton/Prince/Stuckey rumor earlier today (lol, joke). I just got hit with Rondo/Scal/Giddens to the Grizz for Gay/Conley. Both more than likely completely untrue and substanceless.
  8. You sound like a guy who is ignorant to change and the coming of a new fighting sport. These MMA guys are also trained (kick)boxers. Guys like Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, Georges St. Pierre, BJ Penn, Kenny Florian, Frank Mir, Thiago Alves, etc., those guys are just a few of the many world class strikers in MMA today. One thing many people don't know is that the beginning UFC's weren't so much "mixed martial arts" but a way to determine which martial art was best. At UFC 1, Royce Gracie (best jiu jitsu artist ever) won the tournament while being severely outweighed (30-40 pounds in each fight) and won with his submissions, beating a former boxer (Art Jimmerson), a great striker (Ken Shamrock), and another great fighter at the time (Gerard Gordeau). If (more like when) a mixed martial artist today takes a fight with a boxer to the ground, the fight would literally be over in a second.
  9. Please, the guy he fought, Tim Sylvia, is a joke now. Sylvia is a can, Mercer has heavy hands, I saw that result (maybe not as quick) coming from a mile away. Kimbo Slice beat Ray Mercer. Kimbo is a lower level mixed-martial artist.
  10. Am I the only fan?
  11. Believe me, this is the last thing I'm "worrying" about.
  12. Chase Headley, OF (Bench) Sergio Romo, RP
  13. If I had my picks, I would have sent them in the first place. You guys need to f***ing relax a bit. I've been busy lately between working my ass off 45 hrs a week, and some family issues, so I haven't had the time to make and keep lists of guys I target. If you guys really have a problem with it, get someone to replace me. The way I see it anyways, if I have any kind of window to pick, I should be allowed to use it. If you don't like it, replace me with someone else.
  14. Just an FYI, I'm going to the Sox game in a few minutes, and I'm expecting to be totally inebriated tonight, so don't expect my picks to come until tomorrow morning. Unless I don't drink, in which I'll make them before I go to bed at some point. This is assuming that Bosox picks reasonably soon.
  15. julien took the jack adams and chara took the norris for good measure too.
  16. timmy thomas just took the vezina well deserved, happy for the guy. gave a pretty nice speech
  17. Kuo: Needed a lefty reliever, he's entering prime years of his career, can strike guys out, and I think last year was a good indication of how good he can be Bonaficio: Young corner infielder, potential filled switch hitter with speed, I'll take it for my bench. Won't develop power, but I like him as an option off the bench, as a switch hitter, and if he can develop his hitting a little more, he could be a pretty good average/obp guy.
  18. Hong-Chih Kuo, RP Emilio Bonaficio, 3B (bench)
  19. JE I get my ears cleaned out every 3 months because of wax issues, it's awesome, they use a vaccuum. I'll be making my picks within the hour, so you guys can all collectively untie the knots in your panties.
  20. dipreg being a pushy d-bag is why I didn't pick I'll have my picks later on when I get home from work
  21. I know, and I didn't need a PM to let me know that it was.
