  1. i got game 2 woooo
  2. Tiger and Phil are both -10 going to 17, 1 back of Perry. This is awesome.
  3. Tiger's still got a chance to win it, if he can birdie 5 on the back 9 I like his chances. Never know with this guy. Hope he brings the magic. Edit: Eagled 8, -7, 5 back.
  4. I disagree. I think Tyler will be better than most people think on the professional level. He's a very hard worker, has nice hands, and plays rough (he's not soft like people like to think). He's not a lotto player in the least bit, but if a team can snatch him up in the 20-30 range in the draft he'll be a spark-plug off the bench, Leon Powe with a mid-range game type of 7/8th man. A valuable piece on a good, deep team.
  5. I'd have no problem with Avery if he would at least sack up and fight after he cheap shots someone, but right now he just looks like a f***ing girl doing those stupid things.
  6. My god that dunk that Durrell Summers had over Robinson was just f***ing RAW.
  7. No biggie to me. 2 or 3 seed - this team when healthy beats Orlando in 6 or less. I'd rather get the 3 seed and have to face Philly instead of Detroit, then squash Orlando, and take my chances vs. the Cavs. As long as they're healthy they can still win this thing, but if not, it's gonna be tough to watch.
  8. it was a fun year though, it was good to have at least a few active people in there, and a decent amount of competition going too.
  9. just so you guys know i'm still considering myself champion, or at the very least co-champion with whoever wins.
  10. well this sucks
  11. I did really well aside from the Midwest (I took Wake on a random guess, I needed to pick a team to get hot). I had Nova, NC, and Conn
  12. Can I get a unanimous "lol @ syracuse", please?
  13. After running first all year, I'm not too psyched about the prospect of playing for 3rd next week.
  14. gaaaaaaaad my team needs to step up goals is tied, so is SOs, so i'm hoping my team decides to step up there i'm on the verge of just picking up like 2 fighters and trying to steal that category away
  15. f*** me and gus johnsons are about to be in another war
  16. I disagree across the board. Upset Special: Dayton over WV. I feel WV is overrated because they're coming out of the Big East. Dayton has flown largely under the radar in the A-10 and they can PLAY, and have wins against FOUR tourney teams in Akron, Marquette, Temple, and Xavier. By my count WV only beat 4 tourney teams as well, and I feel like peopel are putting way too much stock into their win vs. Pitt. Dark Horse: Boston College/USC. I feel like whoever wins this match-up can take out a really really weak 2 seed in MSU, and Whoever comes out of the WV/Kansas/Dayton pack (I have Kansas personally) can really be exposed. (let the record be known that I hate BC) I also wouldn't be so quick to call BC a system... Raji, Rice, Sanders, and Jackson are pretty good athletes themselves. Overrated Team: I feel MSU is a bad 2 seed, and really benefitted a lot from a weak conference. Region Winner: Wake Forest. Jeff Teague might be the best played in the country and he's certainly the most overrated. People have certainly forgot about these guys since they cooled off a bit once conference play started. They're capable of beating ANYONE at anytime, and I have a hunch that they take out Louisville in the Sweet 16 and make the Final Four.
  17. Kilo I'm real interested to hear your opinion on what UConn is gonna do. I personally have them in the Final Four. I think they were put at a real disadvantage in losing Dyson, but I also feel they lucked out big time in getting a fairly weak section. I think Thabeet has the potential to dominate the WHOLE regional level of the tournament. No one in the section really has any dominant bigs, and the only team I can see with a guy that gives him trouble would be JaJuan Smith in Purdue, but I don't think Purdue gets by Washington regardless. I think UConn gets by Memphis in the Elite 8. Memphis is pretty talented but their best assets is Evans slashing ability on the pick and roll and I can see Thabeet controlling the lane there.
  18. 'Cuse is ripe for the picking. They're hot, they're this, they're that, and I think SFA or ASU beating them is a shoo-in. It's laughable how overrated they are after playing 6 OT's. They wouldn't be getting blown this hard if they had counted the Devendorf (bum) shot. They're ripe for the picking right now, and if SFA doesn't take them out. Arizona State will. For as good as Jonny Flynn is, James Harden is leaps and bounds a better player. I expect 'Cuse out before the Sweet 16.
  19. The bottom half of the midwest is a joke trying to pick correctly. MSU is a weak 2 seed, BC and USC both have upset potential of MSU, WV/Dayton is a toss up, Kansas isn't the team they were last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see MSU, Kansas, WV, BC, or USC go to the elite 8 there.
  20. If FSU is going to get dropped, it won't be by Big Ten bubble wonder Wisconsin (I agree with Kilo, I would have taken PSU over Wisc). They're really hot right now, I changed my mind on this one. Usually hot teams who are mid-level seeds will win a round or two then go down in flames. Xavier is pretty underrated right now, I now like Xavier there to beat FSU in R32.
  21. As of right now my Final Four: Wake, UConn, Florida State, and UNC The Midwest and East are the 2 toughest sections in my eyes as I don't like either of the 1 and 2 seeds in those sections.
  22. The bracket is really tough for me to piece together right now...
  23. UConn really lucked out... pretty weak region IMO.
  24. The midwest is a f***ing doozy. MSU loses in the second round to BC/USC, Arizona/Utah is one of the toughest games to pick I've ever seen. There are about 5 or 6 teams I could see winning this quarter.
  25. USC just stole another bubble spot...
