  1. Whoa... easily the worst inning Clement has pitched all year... 4-0 Toronto. Randy Johnson is turning in another studly performance allowing 4 ER in 3 IP so far... Yankees are down 4-1. O's and Guardians were tied after 2 and a half.
  2. Deserves every single one of them too... Those guys were just doing their jobs, its not like the reporters bash exclusively on Kenny Rogers... everyone gets it. Hes just a dumbass.
  3. Hahaha, Kenny Rogers is probably one of the biggest dickheads in the MLB.
  4. Mirabelli batting third... what an idea. He's going to have a great game tonight (I hope.)
  5. I think the overwhelming majority of Green's minutes will come as a backup to Pierce.
  6. Yeah, Gomes is definitely going to make the team. Hes probably one of the more inconsistent players I've seen, and he doesnt really have a defined position. Those are the only two things that scare me. Other than that he is a very good player when he is on.
  7. Oh, and, 11 of the 50 play in New York.

  9. Yeah, we really shouldnt push it with Schill right now. As someone said, we are going really well, so if we need to wait maybe one more start longer I wouldnt mind as much as I would if we werent doing as well. But once we have a healthy Schilling back throwing like he did last year, the rest of the AL East is f***ed.
  10. 2. Schill and Manny like you said. Manny comes in at 14, making $24,200,000 ($23,200,000 salary : $1,00,000 endorsements). Schill comes in with a tie at 34 with Brett Favre making $16,500,000 ($14,500,000 salary : $2,000,000 endorsements). Other Boston Athletes: Tom Brady is at 13, making $24,506,160 ($15,506,160 salary : $9,000,000 endorsements). Antoine Walker is at 33, making $16,625,000 ($14,625,000 salary : $2,000,000 endorsements).
  11. Haha, I dont hate the guy, its just a funny picture...
  12. Roddick vs. Johansson, Federer vs. Hewitt in the semis. All signs point to another Roddick vs. Federer final.
  13. Hahah, has anyone ever seen the ESPY's commercial with that guy who made a 3 in 1 ring for the Pats, it's pretty funny.
  14. Yeah, I read this, the amount that some of these people make is wicked ridiculous... like Tiger Woods making upward of 80 mil to play golf... thats pretty brainless.
  15. So they drafted... SG/SF Gerald Green (HS)- Hes a great player. Compared to T-Mac. Cant wait to see where he fits in SF/PF Ryan Gomes (Providence)- Hes a good player, honorable mention all american last year, and first team all american the year before I believe. But like Warrick hes pretty much stuck in the middle of 2 positions. I think he can be a decent guy off the bench at best. PG Orien Greene (Lousiana-Lafayette)- Yeah, he wont do much, likely sit on the IR all year (see: Justin Reed). But I'm excited about this upcoming season. We have got a pretty solid team, nothing that will win championships though. If we could resign Walker, that would be great, because it would keep Pierce happy, and keep the veteran leader here. He loves Boston, and we love him here, so it would be a great fit. The only downfall of that move would be that Big Al would see less playing time, and I think he's ready to start. But if Raef can stay healthy again, he will have another good year. Banks and West both with more expericence under their belts, I think will be able to step it up and share time at the point this year. I expect to see Ricky coming off the bench again with Allen starting, with Ricky getting the majority of the minutes. The only real mystery I see is at PF. We could get Toine back and have him play with Jefferson, we could deal Blount, let Jefferson play PF and sign a center (Dalembert, Chandler), and have Raef play both PF and C while theyre sitting. But thats the position where they have a lot of options, the 4 and the 5. At small forward is where I expect Pierce to come in with Green backing him up, I also expect to see Green get some time at the 2 too. But pretty much whatever they do, they will be in a good position. They have a very young and athletic team, and I give SO much credit to Ainge for the drafting job that hes done the last few years, being able to pick up Perkins and Banks in 2003, Allen, Jefferson and West in 2004, and Green and Gomes this year. He has done a pretty amazing job scouting this talent, and he deserves all the credit. All he needs to do is bring in maybe 1-2 veteran guys to provide some leadership for the young kids, if they can do that, this team could be special in 2-3 years.
  16. Haahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... ITS IZZY!
  17. Yeah, stocker, you need to stop before you get even worse than soxie and beantown - one win for them each will do it.
  18. I dunno if I've made one this year, but if I did, the Sox probably won.
  19. And he gets the job done. Little shaky there at the end but overall a good job done by Timlin.
  20. I think if we dealt Shoppach for Guardado that we could possibly deal Foulke away for prospects so we would be able to still keep our farm system at the level it is while potentially solving a bad problem.
  21. Haha, and Jose Offerman is gonna be the MVP.
  22. Hhaha, I like this, its pretty hilarious seeing their papers.
  23. I want hockey back.
  24. Oh f*** yes. He is a stud. He was compared to T-Mac. Was supposed to go in the top 5-10, but I dont know why he dropped. But I'm f***ing pumped to have this kid on our team.
  25. Yeah, not really a difficult decision. O's by a lot. Yankees will catch fire eventually and the O's have been fading for a while now.
