  1. Actually I take it back about the Jets, they won't make the playoffs, but the Jets are usually competive team who does well. If they were in any other division (besides NFC South + East ) they would compete for the crown of that division.
  2. check out the nflshop.com you can get a custom jersey for around $79.99
  3. Steinbrenner can try anything he wants, but he won't be able to make the trade because all he has is overpriced talent, with s***** prospects.
  4. Zink got ripped in his first start 4.2 IP 5 ER's
  5. Why on earth would the O's trade for Mendoza?
  6. ESB, The yankees don't have a spare part to deliever to get top prospects. Hell would freeze over before Steinbrenner trades Jeter to the Cubs for prospects. So how do the Yankees get Johnson? Offer to pay all of the salary? Sure, but that's probably not too much a concern if they can get top flight prospects. That's not coming from NY at all. The Angels owner Moreno, said he will not part with the top level prospects nessicary to obtain Johnson. So what options does we have left? The Mets? Would they be willing to give up David Wright or Scott Kazmir? Probably not, considering the DBacks would want both or 1 plus another very good one. The Red Sox have a very good shot at landing Johnson because if they do give up Garciaparra they would get the prospects in order to get Johnson. But really, what are the chances of a trade like this happening? Small, very small if not any chance at all.
  7. Check out the flybys on foxsports.com that's where I heard it.

  9. AFC East Standings will be 1. Patriots (a team this deep cannot not make the playoffs) 2. Dolphins (this team has too much firepower to not make the Wild Card 3. Bills (They got a mold of a Peerless Price, in a Lee Evans, could make 2nd Card) 4. Jets (What did they do to get better in the offseason, they have no running game
  10. Randy Johnson has reportly said he will not go to the Yankees, because he doesn't believe they have the talent to make a swap.
  11. Pedro will resign with the Red Sox, because with Nomar leaving and Vartek as well the Sox should free up enough to tie down Pedro. (plus Manny might defer 5 million per)
  12. Jets? They are never going to win in that division their playing in.
  13. I'm sorry to disapoint you all, but I don't see Johnson being traded to any team, besides the Angels. The Red Sox do have a deep farm system, but really no stars in it. The Yankees don't have s***, not to mention any thing worth anything to the D-backs. Just who do the Yankees have? Navarro? What did he hit Double A? Around .240? Please. The Sox can offer a few people, Youkillis is one, but why would the want him? They have Chad Tracy/Shea Hillenbrand at 3rd. Abe Alvarez is one the D-Backs would want, So would Lester, and maybe A-Mart. The Sox could offer a player such as Kevin Millar, or Derek Lowe. So the Red Sox are a slight possiblity, but do any of these players would make you forget about Randy Johnson? No not really. Maybe the Angels if the would take the salary on. They have some great prospects in Casey Kotchman, Dallas McPherson, and Ervin Santana not to mention a lot more. The Angels won't take on Johnson salary though, they can't afford it.
  14. I voted 14-15 mil by the way.
  15. Pedro is the "face" of the team. Not only is he the lighting rod to the rivalry, but he's still a damn good player.
  16. Womack is hitting .328 in 250 AB's with 17 SB's.
  17. Since i live in Flordia, I got to give props to my Bucs (been a fan since '91) 1. Bucs 1. Red Sox 3. Magic 4. Bruins
  18. New York fans, not just Yankee fans are stupid. Every Giant fan I talk to still think they have a chance to win the superbowl. Some of them believe that Kurt Warner is still an mvp.
  19. The Yankees would have got ball four called
  20. He reached out for a fly ball and didn't make the catch. It looks as if he extended his leg to far out, that's why his hamstring tore.
  21. forget it, he will never leave Houston. This is Clemens last year, his contract clauses with the Astros are too good for him to go somewhere else.
  22. I agree with Zenny as well, Varitek can't seem to catch up on any pitch. He isn't worth at all what he is asking for.
  23. POKEY BLOWS THATS WHY WE LOST!
