  1. I've got a question. How the did you get Brown AND Jackson?
  2. What channel is yours on?
  3. The Jets aren't that bad. The 49ers will most likely have a chance to draft Peterson first.
  4. How many teams suffer these kind of injuries right after the trading deadline? Schilling Wakefield Clement Lester Wells Varitek Pena Gonzalez Ortiz Ramirez Nixon Papelbon
  5. Longoria has 14 HR's in a little more then 100 AB's. Not a bad pick.
  6. What the hell does Branch care? He wants his money, and he'll probably sit out until he is traded, or gets that contract.
  7. A = .310/.415/.461/.876 A+ = .303/.390/.469/.859 AA = .287/.397/.451/.845 Pretty damn good numbers, especially for a backstop. This guy's also got a cannon behind the plate. He can succeed Vartiek in '09.
  8. If Marino's the QB of the New England Patriots, during the 2001-2005 seasons, they'd win all five.
  9. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Larry Izzo has three Super Bowl rings, but since that all that judges talent, he's more talented then Derrick Brooks who's won only one. When Brady comes knocking at the door at 420 TD's, or 61,500 passing yards, I'll say he's more talented.
  10. Ah. My mistake. You're correct.
  11. So, this knocks the Yankees lead to 8.0 games?
  12. More talent than Dan Marino? That's asinine.
  13. Pedroia's going to be the second baseman for the Red Sox next year. Loretta's not a young guy anymore, he's going to show some decline for the last few years of his career. His defense has really slipped over the last month, and he's not hitting for much power. This is also his last chance to make a few million a year to be a baseball player. He'll likely get a two year six million dollar deal. For a team that already has a 2B who could match that level of production, they need to take that money, and go get some pitching.
  14. What exactly is keeping Loretta aroung going to do? He's going to tell Pedroia something profound, right? Let him do it for the next month, or so.
  15. No need to break the bank on Branch. He wants $8 million annually, with a massive signing bonus. He's certaintly a good WR, but an $8 million dollar one? No, not even close.
  16. File this one under, not happening.
  17. If Ramirez opts out of his contract in Chicago, he'd be worth a shot.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I'll pull for Phillips as hard as I can, so we can see his wife 162 games per year. (Seriously, if Phillips throws strikes, he can be a number three) Anyway, I think you're thinking of Michael Bowden.
  19. Easy guys, this is a hitman for Robert T. Kiyosaki.
  20. I've rated him as a middle relief guy. What's wrong with that? How many players actually end up in the majors anyway? This guy has serious control problems, so bad he makes Jon Lester look like David Wells. 37 Walks I'll rate him higher, when he isn't walking 4.5 batters per nine innings.
  21. Yeszir, was right. This thing rules.
  22. Don't bother responding, 700hitter. You're clearly incapable of saying you're wrong. I think everyone else knows that as well. You know how many PM's I've gotten from people telling me "Good job?" Quite frankly, I'm tired of talking to a wall. I'll try to see how effective this ignore list is.
  23. Keep reaching. Keep ignoring your own faults. I know mine. The point is, you made a statement that I have the uncanny ability of being wrong all the time. Please try to keep up.
  24. You're so full of s***. If you don't care about this why do you keep responding? Everyone on this board seems to think you lost. Take comfort in the fact that you keep making outlandish claims, in a desperate attempt that one of them might stick. Seriously, fielding positions is relevant to batting order? Wow. Way off. Going back to your orginal statement, you said you hated the fact that Perez and Michaels were batting 2 and 5 respectively. Those two often batted there all year. Perez was finally inserted to the five hole because of Peralta's ineffectiveness. So, basically, moving Peralta out of the three hole, made the offense better. The lineup as a whole didn't change. The personal was still there. You didn't know them, so they suck. It's really pathetic that you keep thinking you're right.
