    Well, didn't expect to win last night with Lowe, but I didn't expect to get blown out. These next two I EXPECT to win. Leiber and Halsey have been terrible, we better rack up some major runs and take this series.

    JOOOOOHHNNNY!! JOOOOOHNNNY!! We need some other contributors too though, and we need men on base so we can rack up some more runs... We are still at risk here, DLowe is not pitching his best game, it's going to take a lot more to win this one.

    Way to go JOHNNY!!!! Now we need to take about 7 or 8 more on and we'll be set. Lowe tends to explode in these situations.

    Lowe has had one good and one bad outing against the Yanks, this is by far the hardest game of the series for us. I really wish Schill was pitching, at least we avoid Arroyo. Wake has been dominant against the Yanks of late, lets hope he can continue.

    There has been rumors surrounding Tom Glavine coming to the Red Sox, he's even stated that he would like to return to his home team. If the Mets fall out, this could be a distinct possibility. What is your opinion on Tom Glavine? Personally, the way he's been pitching this year, its hard to say no.

    Why is Dominique starting first base again? We should be out of this inning tied 0-0, due to a great play by Garciapara instead were down 2-0 on a stupid throwing error. Where's daubach or mccarty?

    I have this awful feeling the sox will lose 2 of 3 to the Royals. Schilling will pitch great, we know that, but Wake has been a toss up lately, and Lowe just plain sucks. Not to worry, on the flip side I think the Rangers will take 2 of 3 from the Yanks, so we need to make up for bad play in interleague play next week.

    The ball hit by Chavez made a mark on the back of the wall in centerfield. Ouch! Just like that, it's a 1 run game. 6-5 bottom 5. We need some more runs. We'll need to score about 10 runs for some insurance.

    Credit to Crosby on that Bellhorn play. Can Derek Lowe hang on to a 6-2 lead in the top of the 5th? I doubt it, but we have our bullpen if anything goes wrong.

    Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best. Just for the record, Lowe is 8-2 with something like a 3.22 ERA against Oakland.

    12-2 Top 8 Good Opportunity to see some of our young talent pitch. We will need this run support for LOWE tomorrow, it's not gonna be easy.

    Well, to tell you the truth, the more he stays on the DL the lower his price gets, the less a third team will want him. I'm guessing thats why he wants to stay with Boston now.
