    1. Red Sox fans loved him, it was management that didn't get along with him. The fans didn't get angry until he decided to shutdown and roll around on the field. 2. No fans are more fickel than Yankee fans. Two years ago you wanted Arod gone, then you wanted to resign him, now you hate him again. Loyalty? Yankee fans are a joke when it comes to loyalty. 3. Manny won't gel with the corporate culture that is the New York Yankees.

    I'm sorry, I don't care how good Hanley Ramirez is, without Lowell and Beckett the Red Sox probably lose the division and definitely don't win the World Series. World Series Ring >>>>>>> any statistics you could throw at me If Hanley leads the Marlins to a world series I may reconsider.

    Back on topic of Tavarez... this is long overdue.

    Last year convinced me that tavarez needs to find a new line of work, and timlin needs to retire. There, that's two bullpen headaches we can work on getting rid of. Lopez is good for the occassional lefty-lefty matchup, but gets way overused. I don't know what MDC's problem is, he's got the tools and yet he continues to get himself into trouble all the time. You can say the same about Hansen now after the other day's performance. Aardsma I actually like, so long as he isn't overused. Bryan Corey is meh... wouldn't trust him in a big spot but he's serviceable. The Sox need to add a power arm to the bullpen, ditch the first two guys I mentioned, and reduce the roles of everyone else is the bullpen sans Papelbon & Okajima.

    I don't know if I buy this, it has seattle finishing last. I think seattle may take the division, at worst second place. Oakland or texas is by far the worst team in the division.

    I'd rather have ellsbury and lester. We'll see him once every 3 years now. Looks like a win to me. Plus our rotation remains better than the Yankees.
