  1. Come on! Do it quick before the thread is closed tomorrow morning!!!!!!! As for the game, it went great. I'm really glad you guys are giving Wily Mo the blame for that HR and not Foulke. That was the only downside (along with Trot) of the game. Coco may be out, but to be honest, I'm on the Stern bandwagon for some reason. He just looks like a really fun player to follow. And I'm also on the Wily Mo, umm, bandwagon? If Trot goes down for a week or two then I'm fine with giving Wily Mo a shot to hit some dingers and see what the deal is. He's not as bad as today and he'll improve with more time in the field and at the plate. Just how much is unclear, but a week or two will only help in truly evaluating him.
  2. haha. Lowell went from batting .190 to batting .320 just like that.
  3. I think I just s*** myself. That was like the coolest play EVER!!!!
  4. God it seems like the opening day ceremony just gets cheesier and cheesier every year. It's pretty hard to watch.
  5. Haha. I'm already back home. God I love Fenway.
  6. Yeah
  7. Yeah, I kept thinking my AIM was on God I suck. I must have stopped the broadcast like 3 times to check my PM. Papi has such a hard time with English, but he muscles through it. I totally respect that. Needless to say I'm happy about him staying. Obviously he's already earned his place in Red Sox history as a hero and one for the ages after 04 - yes, up there with Ted. I saw it and I'm honored. I wish I knew what he said in Spanish so I could understand. He seemed much more comfortable speaking his language.
  8. What? Did someone just say something?
  9. I hate to say this, but we all kind of know what Stern can do. And it's quite a lot. Wouldn't it be more fun to see what Pena can do. I mean, he could hit like 7 hrs in that time... Just sayin
  10. Well, I hope you're right, jsinger. But if not and Crisp is out, who would you rather see for a month in Cf - Stern or Pena??? I know Stern is the smart move, but damn, I'd love to see what this guy Pena can do.
  11. True, though MLB is techinically reporting it. I know nothing about WHDH-TV or how legit they are. I hope they suck and Crisp is OK.
  12. I knew I wasn't smoking crack with this report (at least pretty sure). I guess now is as good as anytime to break a small bone.
  13. Sosh reporting it too. But still no official word. http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showtopic=4924
  14. They did say Channel 7 was reporting it. You guys get channel 7? I don't.
  15. I hope I am misinformed - Mustard and Johnson do talk up a lot of scenarios - and I only caught the last 30 seconds of the show. If it's not true, thank GOD and forget I brought it up. It was the end of the show and now they have FoxSportsNet on. If I hear anything, I guess I'll let you know.
  16. I tuned in at the last few seconds of the M and J show tonight and they were talking about it. Now the show's over. It was on the play at 3rd last night. :dunno:
  17. Channel 7 reports Crisp is out a month with a broken knuckle so says weei. Is this true?
  18. Didn't they get swept by them last year?
  19. This is great. The Yankees will score 15 runs today and be shut out 2 of the next 3 games.
  20. Ahhh, Fenway. I can't wait. I'm a little dissapointed they are putting up screens in front of the duggouts, but I guess it makes sense. Anyway, I'm ready to see the ol' girl.
  21. Umm. Same could be said for Foulke.
