    Surprisingly, I am. He's been consistent and his two 7 run extravaganzas seem out of place right now. I used to be on the trade Buchholz bandwagon, but I think this is what we should mostly be expecting out of him. JD DREW TRIPLE!!

    If Ramirez can pitch even close to how he was at certain points in the season, then the pen is the least of our playoff concerns. And even if he doesn't... Papelbon Bard Okajima Wagner Delcarmen Ramirez Saito Ramirez is sixth on our bullpen depth chart (although you can switch around between 3/4 and 5/6). Ideally, Saito doesn't have to throw a single pitch in the playoffs.

    I must say, I wouldn't have minded seeing Dice-K stick around for the rest of the seventh. He was still looking pretty strong. But a great outing that could mean we have an actual fourth starter for the playoffs.
