  1. His batting eye is impeccable. You rarely see him swing at a ball out of the zone, and he does have some power. That sinking line drive HW off MFY was incredible, and I think he can add to his considerably bad batting average.
  2. Hey yawkeyway, what are you talking about "even though it's the Drays"? I love playing Tampa because they are ususally terrible and there are even the occasionaly brawl. Tampa means fun games. Hopefully the Sox can continue a long winning streak. Let's not overlook the Rays, though, as they are much improved.
  3. Randy is incredible. Except for a bad year (due to and injured knee) last year, he's had almost a decade of utter dominance. He should pass Tom Seaver this year for most strikeouts ever for a lefty, and don't expect him to stop there. He's still got some years left, as long as he can still throw 96 MPH. About tonight, I don't think he'll break the record, but he's still so much fun to watch pitch. He's got great control with his fastball, and has one of the best sliders ever. The way he backdoors that thing against righties is amazing. And with his splitter, unstoppable.
  4. I really like the game logs, but I wonder if he actually wrote them. I mean, he never says "Let me tell you" in them But not to make fun of Manny, I think the logs have good insite into what it's like to be a major league hitter. Very interesting stuff, hope he updates it more often.

I was checking it out, and I noticed how in depth the game is. I was very impressed by this. Consider me a future customer.

Surprised that we don't live in New Boston like New England, New York, and New Jersey
  7. I have no idea. Maybe you should email Theo and ask him Actually, I doubt he even knows.
  8. I'd let Arroyo start until he struggles, and I think using Kim in the bullpen is a mistake. Let Kim build up to 100% at Pawtucket, and keep him there until he's needed. An interesting problem (but one that would be welcomed) come arise if Kim's ready and Arroyo continues to shine.
  9. Nixon coming back will be a great boost for the Sox, even though there's no reason they need one. I don't think Kapler has been performing very well, and to have Nixon back and playing every day will be great. I'm looking for him to continue improving and even have a better year than last. High hopes, but I love Nixon.
  10. When was the last time the MFY got swept at home?
  11. I know it's a little late, but this is huge for the Pats. What a move, now we don't need to waste a high draft pick on a running back that might not be good and instead get Wolfork who is a steal at number 21.
  12. Excuse me for the blashphemy, but I think Jason might have been considered so underrated, that he's become overrated. His offensive stats are pretty good, for a catcher, but nothing spectacular. He doesn't throw badly but he's no Pudge. Although he calls games and handles pitchers extremely well, it's not like he turns a mediocre pitching staff into stars; he has three possible aces and the best bullpen in the league. I love the guy, but I think Pedro, Nomar, and Ortiz are all players that should be higher priorities to sign for next year.
  13. Wow, I hate Rivera because I can never figure out how he's so good with one 90 MPH pitch, even if it is nasty. You can just expect the pitch and know what it's going to do.
  14. It's hard to imagine that the celts can win this series. I just hope they stop it from being a complete embarassment.
  15. I like what I'm seeing, WAY TO GO MUELLER.
  16. Wow, Contreras is terrible. He threw 93 pitches without making it out of the 4th inning. Just terrible. Nice job Millar and Bellhorn, both hit SHOTS.
  17. letting Bobby Jones pitch

  20. That kind of error happens to everyone, and, although it was scary, it led to nothing. Glad Manny's off the hook.
