  1. Ahahahahahah! Oh man.
  2. Why would they mark them as SRO if they are seated tickets? I'm unsure if it tells you if its obstr. view when you buy online, I know they do at the box office.
  3. I was off by 2 hours and 26 minutes. Great argument!

Aside from '97, when Randy was downright dominant (and 34 years old), his AL statistics are good, but not great. As you said, combine this with his age, and the added pressure of pitching in New York, and it doesn't add up to a yankee savior. I'd still be scared taking fastballs from the guy, but Manny should be able to handle bim. ETA until yankee fans "prove" this wrong: 1 hr 20 minutes. I'm waiting.
  5. Welcome to the site, and how much did you win on game 4?
  6. I looked for SRO tickets on redsox.com, and don't worry about the row/box number. They are standing room only tickets, despite what the numbers say, and you won't have a seat. The tickets say GENERAL ADMISSION ONLY - NO SEAT, or something like that.
  7. Now that they had to restructure it to give it some sort of fairy tale ending, I doubt it will be as interesting as it could have been before. But since it's about the sox, I guess I have to see it.
  8. Are you saying that without steroids Barry Bonds wouldn't be able to feed his family? If we're saying outlandish things, then, if anything, Barry Bonds and his steroid use is preventing other people from feeding their families. He's hoarding all the money while the other, non-abusers, are left with their pathetic 3 million, non-homerun hitting contracts.
  9. Standing room only tickets shouldn't have seat and row numbers. That's strange. Where are you seeing this info?
  10. And the yankee organization is marked by fans who dwell in the past. This isn't 2000 anymore. Deal with it. And you need to reconsider your "zero class" allegations. Our boys have shown a hell of a lot more class than your team recently, and they had fun doing it. You talk all you want, but it's different then it was. (that's a Music Man reference right there)
  11. I'm not sure if we can say "good riddance *******" quite yet. You don't know the context of this, not to mention the fact that the source on this is from Arizona. Maybe he didn't want the ring because he felt that he wasn't a part of the championship team? Maybe it wasn't as cold as you imply.
  12. Standing room on the monster seats is different I believe. Standing room is basically: you have a ticket, but no seat, watch from wherever you can. Most people hang around behind the last row of the grandstand. This is how I watched game 5 of the ALCS.
  13. You could maybe go with ebay and pay the extra money that overseas shipping would entail. As joe said, you may have luck with a scalper outside of fenway the day of a game. It is next to impossible to get any form of ticket without waiting in a virtual waiting room or long line the day that they go on sale. You're going to have to pay a lot more than face value to get tickets, I'm sorry to say.
  14. Typical of him to be dissapointed with what others viewed as good work. Its good that they're getting into the swing of things, I can't wait until the actual games!
  15. wtf....he left amid a shitstorm. This'll be interesting...
  16. Did Valentin have the same type of surgery? I remember watching that game where he just collapsed. It was a routine drippler and he just buckled. Baseball injuries are horrible, I really really hope that this doesn't happen to Mueller.

  18. Hahaha! Children taste...oh boy.
  19. Yea? She doesn't talk to me anymore after all that slobber
  20. It's been a while, welcome back. And that's a great point with the Celtics/Yankees comparison. We can only hope it works out that way for the sox, without the whole Kobe thing.
  21. He really came across as an idiot in that press conference. I used to be on the "Barry is OK" side of the fence, but I'm finding myself on the other side as more stuff piles up against him.
  22. Welcome to the site.
  23. He'll command a really, really big contract for what he does. Sure he's good, but is he really worth 10 million plus? Think about it, as much as we love him and his hair, we have to also think about the greater good of the team. He won't become another Nomar, I think he's too down to Earth to do that, but he may be traded nonetheless.
  24. I just read the post again, and now for some reason I can't stop laughing
  25. What Curt does with his free time, and who or what he supports are of no interest to me. He nearly singlehandedly won the team the world series. He's free to root for the yankees for all I care, so long as he beats them when he pitches.
