Radio’s going to do some fun things in the 4th and 5th. In the 4th, Wil Flemming is going to go over to the Giants booth to do an inning with his brother Dave. The two will move to the Boston booth for the 5th. Meanwhile, the legendary Jon Miller will join Lou Merloni. Yes. He was in Boston from 80-82. Chuck Thompson moved to Oriole’s TV for the 1983 season and Miller was hired for the radio booth. He was there until sometime in the late 90s when he moved on to San Francisco.

BTW, another, imho, great baseball announcer who isn't mentioned much was the late Lindsey Nelson.

I agree. Remember when they used to make 2 trips out there each year? Sox would be lucky to go 6-12 on those. 8-10 or 9-9 was cause for celebration.
