Just like that!

One swat by the man child,

If one isn't part 'child,' one probably shouldn't be playing professional sports. But, I get your point. Devers never let's his previous at bat effect his next at bat.

That and the baby face.

I just love computers. In fact I'm using one right now--ditto when I use the phone, ipad, etc. But most of all I love them when opposing managers listen to their siren call and pull their starter when he is pitching well just because there's a man on first with one out and the top of the Sox order--who couldn't hit Quintana--is coming up for the 3d time.

I believe I am correct in saying that Cora does not usually pull his starter when the opposing team is about to face him for the 3d time. Today Eovaldi faced 23 batters despite giving up 4 runs in the 2d. Well done, Alex--and Eovaldi. And Valdez, for that matter.

Over the last week or so I have really started to appreciate how patient Cora is. I think it's a big part of this team's success so far

Bottom 3 guys are 5 for 6

And they are backups, too!

Too bad Arauz is heading down for Tuesday's game, I would imagine

Whoever said low in the zone to Chavis is a mistake has a point.

Plus this year he seems a little quicker on the basepaths.

Chavis is making a case to stay.

No idea why the Angels pitchers have stopped throwing Hammer high fastballs. I'm glad they have short memories. Actually, it may be more the catcher's fault then the pitcher's. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER
