Yep.. and with Chara out this is now a toss up, sadly. I still think that they will out skate them but I had them in 6 before.. looks like a seven game series if I ever saw one. Regroup, and blow them out in game 5, then go from there.

Win it for Z. His jaw will heal, but still hurt if they drop a series they should own. BTW, are Marchand and Bergeron suiting up recently. Heinen and Nordstrom may be the two worst puckhandlers and skaters I have ever seen.

Whether it's 6(which I still see happening) or 7, the BRUINS will win the Cup. This team is used to playing injured.

The bruins have been pathetic. In orde to win a cup you need to take it and play well. Game 2 and 4 where just pathetic. 23 shots last night. I start to wonder if some of these guys have what it takes to win a cup. It would be a a huge opportunity lost that’s for sure. I feel they’re a much better team than the blues but haven’t had that huge mental fortitude.

I have not looked but he HAS in recent games seemingly cut down on his pitch count. Don't know where he is tonight.

63 through 4 innings, not bad at all. Could go 7 if efficient in next 2.

I know he is a fan favorite and provided the deadheads with some spark earlier, but Chavis is really in no way ready for this level of pitching. Maybe he can turn it around but for now he's overmatched.

It was painfully obvious that pitchers would work Chavis up with FB's and then also get him low and outside with breaking stuff.

One problem at a time. He has to do something about his inability to hit FB's up that would be called strikes if he didn't swing and miss. Its not like they are climbing the ladder to get him out.

You know what, I hate to say it but I think the Blues softened the Bruins up a bit with all these goddamn hits. The Blues are slower but they play like goons and when you do that really well it can give a speedy finesse team fits. Grzelcyk and Chara are now gone... I expect it to go seven. Anything can happen. I do like that we have home ice tho. I still think that they will win the series, more importantly, I think that whoever wins game five will win the series.

I believe you're way off base on that. This team had the most player time missed due to injuries in the NHL and still finished 2nd in total points. The 2 games the BRUINS lost to the Blues, the BRUINS were only playing with 5 defensemen due to injuries.

Btw, if you want to complain about a team lacking mental fortitude, you're watching them tonight. And I'm not talking about KC.

The Blues play a risky game once they get to your end of the ice. Everybody pinches down and just keeps pinching down till all 5 of them are just outside the goal crease. Never seen anything quite like it because they all pinch. Its not like the forwards are covering for the defensemen when they pinch. They are all down there. Bruins have not really been able to punish them for that. But they should be able to do so.

Idk about that. How do you come out so flat after a dominating win? That’s when you have to take a stranglehold of the series. They got beat up last night and 23 shots is pathetic. The first line has been missing for awhile now. Their stars are nowhere to be found.

The energy was not there in game four. But I would be SHOCKED if they played that way in game five. I expect them to be all over the ice in game five. Get TB12 to the rink and help them with a goddamn pregame rally if necessary. It’s a best of three now, the time for fooling around is over.

They have been a lost cause for awhile now. This is just a brand new low. I wonder when Cora will take some heat for this crap. The players just don’t seem to care.

This is it guys, the big inning where the runs will flow like milk and honey making us all look bad for showing no faith in either LSS or SSS's. Go get'em Red Sox.

+1. This team has a 240 million dollar pay roll... and THIS is what we have to look forward to this year??

Well. I’m pretty bummed out and not even just because this game is going s*****. I just saw Andrew McCutchen tore his ACL, that really sucks

I may just be rationalizing but I am not convinced Chara's game is suited to the Blues style of play. They all get down below the face off circle. Sometimes nobody is higher than the face off circle. So they end up skating in short jab steps and tight circles....fast acting muscle skating. Chara ends up looking even slower than usual as they have taken four steps before Chara takes one. He goes to where the play just was and that long stick really does not come into play as much.

This season has just been one disappointment after another. I thought we could get things going. But..... wow.

It’s just frustrating. Last season I was excited to get off work and watch the Sox. This year I’m off and am like “I guess I’ll watch, nothing else is on”.

Game five can’t come soon enough.

It’s not “early” anymore. It will be the all star break before we know it. This team has serious issues winning back to back games.
