What the hell is Pom's problem? I had him neatly categorized as just about worthless as a starter or a reliever. A loser thru and thru. But that was a pretty handy little 4.1 innings which saved a big part of the bullpen.

Mookie's due.

So I was more specific last night. Started about week ago saying Mookie's not as quick to the strike zone as he normally is and that is a big part of his hitting game. The other night I just flat out said it...he is swinging a tired bat right now. Might not be just in his hands because of course hitting is way more than wrists and forearms. But he is swinging a tired bat.

I'm not seeing a tired bat, not one bit. I'm seeing Mookie swinging for the fences on almost every swing. He's definitely swinging hard and he is no longer trying to go to the opposite field. That last at bat is a perfect example. The pitch was on the outside corner and Mookie hit it down the 3b line.

No reason not to give him 2 days off. It can't hurt.

There has to be somebody they can use at AAA over Pomeramz.

Poms still terrifies me when he pitches. He looks like he doesn’t have great control and still walks too many players. But somehow he has only given up 5 runs in his last 11 innings I believe. Which Isn’t horrible. I don’t know what it is but he has an Angel in the outfield that helps him out lol?

If X could do that more often, he could be a perennial .300 hitter.

Yeah, he needs a lot of work. Paltry OPS of .886 before tonight's 3/4 game. The hitting coach has a lot to answer for.

I thought he was pretty darn good despite the dinger, and I try never to say that about Pom.

Man, don't be so sensitive. I wasn't dissing the guy. I simply stated that going to right on occasion would raise his BA. Man, you need a lawyer to post here.
