You sure don't see any emotion out of him, which is OK, especially if he was doing something useful. He must be taking clues from Porcello and Barnes on how to control your enthusiasm.

I can't help but wonder how much simpler things would have been for the SOX over the years at 3rd base if they'd only signed Beltre to a long term contract back when he was on the team. Major mistake by the Theo.

One thing for sure is that the fat Panda money would not be an anchor around their neck. Devers would still be learning his trade at the correct level, and who knows where the hack Middlebrooks and Shaw would have gone . Probably in trades as they bumped into Beltre's bat.
