I'm only following on radio, so I didn't actually see the play. By inner Jeter, I assume you mean he made a routine play but did it in an unnecessarily flowery way that made it look like he performed a superhuman feat of athletic prowess? Should I be prepared for him to be awarded Golden Gloves every year, even long after the time his skills decline to the point that he's basically being given a lifetime achievement award?

Haha. Just a jump throw that many folks executed but Jeter always seemed to be credited for inventing it somehow.
