I'm getting really tired of not seeing JBJ in CF.

 

Lotta' roosters have come home to roost today. But we are still in this game...amazing as it seems

The way the booth crew just reported that inning, it sounds like they think Cash snookered Cora into inserting Moreland in this lineup which moves JD (at least for Cora) to the outfield and ties the Sox hands because Hanley is committed to DH. If true...that was a nice job by Cash.

JD hasn't had the greatest start but I hope some Red Sox fans don't stoop to the low of what Yankees fans did when they booed the hell out of Gioncarlo Stanton on his 0-5 day in last week's Yankees home opener. Hopefully our fanbase has more common sense and patience that that.

Could be and I wouldn't put is past Cash. Cash's issue is he has next to nothing to work with as far as impact players this season but he is a smart guy.

I think the only problem sox fans might have with JD is that he is sorting pushing this "play me in the OF " thing and he does not belong out there. We will need his bat IMO and we will need it because he will come around. I don't think he can play in the cold any longer and I don't think he can play in the OF whether its warm or cold. Can only put him out there in inter-league play.

 

Even that is on Cora and Dumbrowski. JD can want to be out there till hell freezes over. Its Cora's job to put the team on the field.

Well by the looks of seeing Xander literally carried off the field, that is a horrible break. That was not a good sight to see at all.
