I would not have sent him out there. We have plenty of fresh arms in the bullpen including Price who is warming.

He had just had a very tough 5th inning with a lot of pitches. And Plouffe it an at'em ball to start the 6th inning. He was on fumes and that he been his pattern all year long.

He was fine. He is what he is... not an ace... not yet at least. JF left him out there too long. If he was going to bring in Price for a couple of innings, he should have brought him in for the 6th and 7th imo. As usual, JF is a couple of beats behind better baseball minds. LOL!!

That's Erod. The 5th was a bit ugly, but he still didn't get hit hard. I don't see it as stressed other than the 5th........ and still thought he had enough to get out of it...

The fifth was ugly but he still had 7 strikeouts and looked pretty solid. He gave us a chance today if the offense was half decent.
