I'm not a big fan of Barnes, but I'll give the guy credit. 2nd & 3rd with one out, and he gets out of the inning without giving up a run.

 

I wouldn't give him to much credit, the ump gave him way more credit on balls outside than he deserved..

All of his pitches were in the same place. IMO he just wasn't giving him anything to hit. The Sox would have been happy enough to have walked him and set up the DP. Then the ump and the batter helped Barnes out.
