Pedroia getting a blow.

Hernadez is interesting.

Let's see what cp176 is talking about.

Is he better that Rutledge?

I saw Hernandez in Spring Training. I liked his tool set and his hustle and heads up play. I think CP176 was right about this kid. I also think the fans will like him when they see him play.

I saw him play 2-3 times while at Pawtucket last year. He is not Merrero with the glove but he is pretty good.

He is also not Merrero with the bat, fortunately.

We'll see if he gets enough playing time.

Anyone is better than Rutledge.

Rutledge may indeed be a AAAA player.

However he is good enough at both phases of the game to be replacement level. That is my opinion.

He runs pretty well too. He has major league tools, none are really plus tools, but some might be better than average.

Why is Young in today? Toronto has a lefty starting tomorrow?

Is this the "Knucleballers get no respect" syndrome?

Hey - I'm happy for the kid. Not sure that he is an upgrade over Marrero or Rutledge. He might be the same player. I think that they are rewarding him for the work that he has put in plus they need to find out a little more about him. They are pretty well stocked with players like him right now. He is certainly stronger looking than he was last year. When I saw him in Portland, I was very impressed with him.

I like that Gibbons has changed his lineup from last year. The Jays scored a ton of runs last year, so he decides to mess with success and put Saunders in the leadoff spot. As a pitcher, I would hate trying to acclimate to the mound etc. when the first batter is Donaldson who can crush you.

They really should hire me as a scout. I would work cheap.

How many games will it take for it to dawn on Farrell that playing Young against RHP and sitting Holt kills the production of our offense?

The Jays feed mentioned that the Red Sox have yet to face a LHP starter yet. We've all given Farrell s*** about this, but if Young spent two full weeks on the bench, he's going to suck when they do put him in against lefties.

I guess Wright has been selected to be the pitcher that gets no run support this year.

We face some tough RHP. This lineup today is ass though.

If he can't be ready to hit lefties off the bench after sitting, then he is useless to us.

hey hey - little love here for cp(lol). If nothing else, he might be a piece of the big trade puzzle.
