Farrell is a f***ing idiot. There is no way he should be running his set up guy into the ground this way. Nobody has pitch as many games as Tazawa since 2013. He has a dead arm.

There's really no reason to tax the guy in a dead season. Honestly, Workman should have gone out for another inning.

Orsillo put Remy on the spot with a tough question asking whether Bradley's demotion should have come much sooner. At first, Remy dodged the question, but then after acknowledging that he sounded like he was dodging, he stated that the move was overdue. He stated that a hitting coach could not give Bradley the one on one attention that he needs. He stated that Bradley probably needs more than a minor adjustment. He noted that his upper cut swing had produced only 1 home run, that he would have to learn to level out his swing, cover the plate better and keep the ball out the air.

It has been my opinion for sometime that the kid was so screwed up that continuing to send him out there had zero chance of success. Watching him every day, it seemed very obvious that he needed help that he couldn't get in the big leagues. Bradley is not going through some ordinary struggles that young players go through. He has fallen flat on his face. I can't think of too many successful players that have flopped this badly at age 24 and then become productive offensive players.

Back to Remy's anwer, we have played more than two thirds of the season with a lineup that had 4 dead spots. The results should be no surprise. The FO made no attempt to make the necessary and obvious adjustments to field a competitive team this year.

Remy said that Bradley needs a personal hitting coach. Will this be provided in Pawtucket? Who would such a coach be?

Also, the center field camera man was hit on top of his gourd. They showed a clip of him with a bag of ice on his head. Not that it matters.

I fully agree with this statement. Relying on two rookies who had seen only about a full season out of A ball was not a good idea. I hope that they are not doing this with Mookie Betts too.

Come to think of it, The Sox seem to have moved some positional players along too rapidly. Bradley, XB, Middlebrooks.

None of them is close to being Major League ready.

A telling box score... Cespedes 0-5, Napoli 0-4, Middlebrooks 0-3, Bogaerts 0-4. That's your 4,5,6, 7 hitters without a hit :( although Nap and Middlebrooks each walked once.

Pedroia kill it with the double play. He's not lighting up it either this year. Beside Papi, there isn't a stand out performer on this team.

Meanwhile, Brock Holt's 15 game hitting streak continues with 2 hits.
