They looked way better than this against the Angels and A's. Way better.

That's off my head, but I could probably find a series worse than this one. There's still a chance to split the series. I do know the Angels got the walkoff by Hamilton in extras, followed by getting shutout the next day. The A's pitcher Griffin literally shut us down and the next day we lost on a walkoff. I get your frustration vs the Royals, but I wouldn't consider it the worst. They're playing better than they should be, we caught them at the wrong time.

Edit: The 4 game series vs the O's, we only won 1 game.

Yup, that was bad, especially because there starters werent great besides tillman. If you look at this series, we beat up santana , hit well off of guthrie, but got stymied by stupid bruce chen. The pitching just has been bad this series overall.

The sox are 29th in the league in runners left on base. But, detroit is the 30th. We just get so many people on that it can be hard to drive all of them home.( meaning they are the top two teams with most runners left on base per game).

We don't have the power like the 2003-2008 Sox lineup. We need Bogey and Middlebrooks to be that in the near future.

Precisely.

We are last in runners left in scoring position per game though. I dont like that. Although, the 2007 team was actually worse lol. We just are able to muster a lot of hits.

Can I get a link for those stats please? The number one team in all of baseball in terms of offense, is ranked 29th in the league in RISP. That is just ugly.

I thought 29 was bad, we're ranked dead last. How is Miami first? This list would seem more accurate if you read it bottom to top

In runners left on base, we are 29th. In runners left in scoring position, we are 30th. Well i guess when we go on single and double rallies, we never clear the bases, so we could score 3 runs in an inning and by the third out, there could still be two men on base.
