Dempster is one of those guys that pitches just well enough to lose each game that he pitches. Give him 8 runs of support and he will not make it through 5 frames.

^I was close. He couldn't get through 5 when we get him 7 runs.

This will be a tough stretch for the pen. No Miller tonight I would guess except for maybe one LH hitter. Mortenson probably comes out to start the inning. Hope he can finish it.

mauer is an outstanding hitter. He usually hit everything on the line. Guy might hit close to .400 at Fenway and AL East.

I do think it might have come off the bat and dribbled off the back of his leg after but the ball did not hit anything else before the bat or simultaneously with the bat.
