I really hope we can snag this win because the thought of Doubront and Aceves facing Oakland isn't very comforting in regards to our chances of taking that series.

Nevermind, when I looked yesterday they said Aceves was starting monday. Now it says Doubront monday, Aceves tuesday.. Against Griffin who had a couple quality starts against the Sox last year, and Colon.

Well I can't fault WMB there. That was not a slider...it was a decent pitch to hit and the way WMB goes down to anything low and outside I am in favor of him swinging at any pitch that is not a breaking ball on the outer third and low...If that means he swings at the first pitch I am OK with that for now.

Don't know why we didn't DH Napoli, put Carp at 1B, and Gomes in LF. I would much rather see Gomes than Salty right now.
