Well Ace is not an answer. That is why it rankled me a bit to hear him spoken of in that context. Ace sucks...period. Should have bounced his ass already. Webster is not SP depth either and neither is Morales healthy or not. IMO, they either find a way to make a move they don't.

Haha. I was never that kind of person even when he underperformed. I've always wanted Lackey to show us his true talent. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery.

In all fairness, JA Happ sucks. I imagine this is one of those games where all logic and reasoning points to it being a slugfest, that turns into a pitcher's duel.

 

Well Pal if you were calling this like I think you were hinting you hit a homer. You can't do much with only one hit and Happ was good enough to get a good five innings plus to stop us cold. Without trying to raise anyone's hackles it looks like Aceves got steamcleaned again, but since we are pretty much out of this game he could get a mulligan on his less than stellar performance. We'll have to hit better tomorrow for Jon to win the rubber game.

I was always on team Lackey myself. I'm glad he's gonna be okay. That arm injury looked like a killer for a second there.
