Yankees talking with Marlins about deal for ARod

Calling them the $pankees is moronic. Using the money is certainly an argument you could make, but you also cannot overlook the fact that your team spent the second most money in all of baseball the last 3 yrs and havent made the playoffs once. It isnt just about the money, you have to get something for it.

No idea why the Marlins would be interested in ARod. No DH in the NL. ARod's defense has been steadily deteriorating. Doesn't make sense to me.

You just made my point. The $pankees spent even more, and bought their way into the playoffs the last three years. If hating the $pankees makes me a moron then crown me and make me the king of the morons. The way the $panks didn't show up against the Tigers, and all of the problems the $pankees roster now has it is going to make the winter a little more enjoyable.

 

I don't think hating the Yankees was what earned you that crown.

I hope everyone had a Happy Yankee Elimination Day! I enjoyed it. The air smelled a little better, the food tasted a little better, and the water tasted a little better knowing that the big bad Yankees were playing golf this morning.
