That was a pretty tough play for the SS to make. I actually would like to see more scoring based on whether the fielder had a reasonable shot at getting to the ball in the first place. If that ball had come up for the SS, then I would have called that an error. But considering how far he came and the ball staying down on him, I would tend to call that a hit. Would like to see a replay to confirm my impression that the ball stayed down on him.

Especially in 06 over Alex Gonzalez. It's incredibly bizarre, but the Golden Glove has almost become an award for whoever performs best offensively at a position. If no one outside of your home team fanbase knows you, then f*** you, we're giving the awards to someone else.
