Does anyone actually enjoy watching this team? Or are we all just gluttons for punishment? Why do I still have any expectations that this team can win here and there??

Just like last September, I am Charlie Brown kicking a field goal and the Red Sox are Lucy.

It really is getting hard. I don't expect this team to be in first by a mile. But this is absolutely ridiculous. It's really not fun to watch at all anymore.

This game will be over very soon.

What kills me is that yes the O's are getting good pitching and on the rare occasion something approaching great pitching in this series but in the main they have just played better baseball and taken advantage of their opportunities. Even in the 3 error game, outside of those 3 errors they played better baseball while we just stumbled through nine innings of futility.

Hes just so inconsistent. Reminds me a lot of Miller. Clay can throw some solid pitches. But then he throws s*** like that and makes you think in your head wtf!!!! Maybe an alien took his talent. Like Space Jam :)

He is consistent. Thats the problem. He has been consistently BAD all year.

Another poster thinks, I believe, that he has lots of talent. If you have talent, don't you win games? Don't you have to prove it on the field? Talent without performance is not talent; its potential.

They gave us THREE EXTRA OUTS and still beat us.

I admit that the Red Sox are not THIS bad. They will win some games. I think they are a .500 team this year. As someone else said on another thread, we are a mediocre team playing bad baseball.

And this is where CC will be under tremendous pressure when he comes back. Do you really think one player, Ells coming back changes this much momentum going the wrong way? if you have two guys coming back turning outs into hits now maybe ya' got somethin....that is if they are not out by double digits in the loss column by the time they get back.

And then we get to see how CC responds to pressure this year....why am I not optimistic??? I can barely work my way to objective.

Can't wait to hear the post game today.

"Hunter, man, I haven't seen him throw like that. He's a different pitcher."

s***, guys. You're supposed to be a major league hitter. Figure your s*** out. Tommy Hunter throws f***ing meat. I could get a hit off of this guy. And he's mowing you down.

Its a little slow around here today..

How long will it take for the Orioles to get their fifth run against Buchholz? I say the fifth inning.

And this is another aspect to the Sox that sort of lulls you to sleep....they have given up 2 runs in three innings. Well by the end of the game just that is 6 runs and you have to score 7 to win. Is this an O's explosion of runs...we haven't had that yet. If you cannot pitch better you have to match the other team's scoring and putzing around with a guy like Hunter is ridiculous.

Gammons doesn't help. I think he is an amateur hypnotist.

This is so painful to watch.

Another couple of runs for the O's and I am outta here. I refuse to waste my time watching these losers when the game gets out of hand any more.

The Bulls and Sixers are also on TV.

This will be the Red Sox 2nd losing streak of 5 games this season.

Last season they only had TWO losing streaks of 5 games or less.

And it's May 6th.

Do you think this year's team is WORSE than last year's? If so, why?
