Eh, it is fantasy baseball and as much as I hate the Yankees, you still have to pick your team based on who you think will give you the best chance to win. Gonzalez and Ellsbury are both gone extremely early in the draft, so I chose Tex for one of my teams.

You are referring to batting average, correct? There is so much more to fantasy baseball then batting average. I have nine guys on my team with 20+ homers last year and I have 10 guys with 70+ RBI's last year. My team has a lot of power. I also have CC who I drafted towards the end of the draft who might be a good pickup if he has a good year when fully recovers from his injury. Ross is another guy that is on a hot streak right now and I think that he could be a nice addition. My starting rotation is decent, but I feel like having 5 closers on my team will be huge.

This has been my philosophy for years. I routinely find myself picking Yankees and Rays for this very reason. Good call Palodios.
