First game

I live in Wyoming so do not get a lot of chances to see much pro ball. Been saving up to take our family vacation in Minneapolis this year. Going to catch my first Sox game at Target field on 8/9/11. I am very excited. My boys (5, 8, and 11) are all big baseball fans. They do not know about the game- gonna surprise them.

 

Any idea who will be pitching that day?

I'm going on Saturday, with Lackey set to pitch. Are the Sox off on the Monday before? If so, Wake, if not Lester. That could change if they pick up someone today.

Looks like you're in luck! There's a Sox game everyday until August 11 when they travel from Minnesota to Seattle. I just checked.

Yes, I think I also am certain it will be Lester. I will report on how the experience goes. Anyone have any ideas how to get my kids some autographs while at the Twin Cities?
