I wouldn't put much thought into the 4 game skid. Beckett missed two starts and we had a lineup consisting of McDonald and Cameron with no Ortiz or Crawford along with the pitcher batting. I wouldn't be terribly worried.

How long till Crawford returns?? Dear god. We need CC and Reddick in our RF/LF. Cameron and McDonald can be sent to play highschool baseball somewhere in the Dominican where the strike zone is 12 times the size of MLB & swinging at everything will be expected of them.

I'm really hoping that this little DL stint is going to be good for his head. Maybe when he comes back, he will be the Tampa Bay version of Carl Crawford. Driving the gaps, hitting tons of XBH, etc. With Crawford and Ortiz out of the line up, and guys like Drew, Cam, and D-Mac in the line up, our offense stinks

Crawford has posted OPS' of .810 and .761 in May and June respectively. If he stays in the .800 range, then he's the Crawford of his TB days. Just his abysmal April will skew this yrs numbers
