No this does make sense. Drew's father probably is a baseball. A baseball that would work long hard days of work to come home and drink heavily while lamenting that his son was a sissy bitch. Any time something went wrong father baseball would beat young drew mercilessly while calling his son a "weak hamstringed sissy pole fancy" which led to the elder J.D Drew freezing with terrifying flashbacks during every pitch in his big league career and K looking at a considerable pace. Of course this led to him also walking a ton and that makes his OPS a great asset to this team.
