Your in my neck of the woods then.

Cape Ann area, or west of it?

More west, up by the Lowell/Andover area. Perfect shot straight down 93.

Brilliantly awesome game. The job isn't done yet, though.

The Bruins are not as good as the Canucks' date=' plain and simple. But if Tim Thomas can stand on his head like he did vs Tampa aside from 2 games, then they could pull it off[/quote']

They weren't as good as the Lightning or the Flyers either according to almost all the experts. Howd that work out. You are severely underrating them.

In 07-08, Bruins lost in the quarter-finals to MON.

In 08-09, Bruins were the BEST team in the NHL and choked in the semi-finals to MON.

In 09-10 they were up 3-0 to the flyers in the conference semi-finals and choked.

They have been one of the better teams over the last couple of years as well as the BEST team in the NHL in 08-09. They have steadily improved and have climbed over hurdles that led to their demise in years past.

This is their year. Vancouver isnt as good as you think, and the Bruins are MUCH better than you are giving them credit for. The Bruins have the ability to control the pace of a game and limit offensive opportunities. BTW, they have the Vezina winning goalie and one of the best defensive units in hockey.

Canucks are most definitely more skilled than the Bruins are, but the Bruins are a matchup nightmare for them. If we can take one in Vancouver, the series should be in our grasp because this will come down to line matchups. If we can keep Chara/Seidenberg on the Sedin losers, with the Bergeron line, we should be able to keep them in check, and with the home team having last change, matching lines will be more important than ever.

If Malhotra plays, the Bruins are literally f***ed. Going to need an otherworldly series out of the Krejci, Lucic, Horton line, as well as Kelly, Ryder, Peverley, and Seguin.

If our toughness game can outmatch their finesse game, then I think the Bruins can win, but that's a stretch. We've risen up all year against the odds, so you never know.

As a Bruins fan, I like us in 7, but as a hockey fan I think the Canucks take this.
