I'll be at the game. Looks like rain today though.

I don't care if Price ruins my Fantasy points league for the SEASON with this game. Just get it done guys.

I'll be back for more tonight. Johnny issued a dramatic "f*** you, April Lester" in his last start and is ready to kick some ass. Maybe Price will even give up a run or two to help the cause. Win this s*** so I can hear Dirty Water and Tito sounding off about "a lot of good things" happening tonight.

It appears that the rain will taper off around game time: http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/USMA0046?begHour=9&begDay=102

(since boston forecasts in april are ever so reliable)

Yeah' date=' we'd have to win 1 game first before we can win two in a row. ;)[/quote']

I ment like when this last 2 against the Rays. <_>

I know it's early and all, but when we have a team hitting .237/.330/.347, why in the f*** are we sitting a guy hitting .417 with a .917 OPS so that a guy hitting .185 with an OPS of .489.

Yes. I'm talking about Lowrie vs Scutaro. And yes, Lowrie has as many hits in 12 at bats as Scutaro has in 27 at bats.

It's beyond ridiculous. How about trying to play someone who is tearing the cover off the ball right now rather than waiting for your sub-par shorstop to warm up?

'Cause Tito is a loyal guy who doesn't want to make a noise in the clubhouse. He needs his blanky.

Anyway, he is in the lineup tonight. He's playing 3rd and giving Ortiz the night off.

1. Carl Crawford, LF

2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B

3. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B

4. Kevin Youkilis, DH

5. Jed Lowrie, 3B

6. Mike Cameron, CF

7. Jason Varitek, C

8. Darnell McDonald, RF

9. Marco Scutaro, SS

Oh man. This is a scary line up. I'm so glad we're sitting Ortiz (.429 vs LHP this year) and JD Drew (.400 vs LHP this year) and playing Scutaro (.167 vs LHP). I'd hate it if we actually put a line up out there that was heating up.

God I love this season.

6-9 in that lineup is horrible.. this could be long night if Lester isn't dominant.

What is Tito's obsession with Scutaro at SS? I'm not all that concerned with the other guys offensively, but Scutaro AND Lowrie? Not only that, you're putting this kind of defense out there for your ace? This is unreal.

ughhhh.Ortiz sitting he been are best player the whole year and drew has had is up's and down .idk about the line-up tito.seems like a 1-0 type of game

Seriously. Lowrie, in 12 AB's, has as many hits as Scutaro in 27 AB's. But Scutaro is better.

Hell. If we don't give a s*** about the offensive side of the game, bring up Iglesias. He can prevent more runs than Scutaro can produce.

Scutaro AND Lowrie are in the line up. No whining!:)

This lineup is odd but I think Francona realizes we don't need that many runs tonight with Lester pitching.

Not nearly as many as with Dice-K yesterday.

I think that "shouldn't" would be a better word at this point. Considering the abortion of a season we've had thus far, you never know what can happen. ;)

Not starting Ortiz against Price? Maybe Tito has learned his lesson matching poor Ortiz against CC.

Did you notice Madden shifted the IF against Salty last night? You might see the shift against a lot of Red Sox left handed batters this year--since the media has targeted them as the team to beat. Ortiz still tries to hit into the shift instead of going to LF--which he can do well. Where's Tito on stuff like this? Fundamentals, Tito.

The answer to your question is MUNEY. Scutaro makes more dough than Lowrie.

Money talks.

Besides, shuffling lineups is one of things Tito does well--except for letting Papi make an out vs lefthanders.

Well Francona needs to step the hell up and bench Scutaro. How many in the league even have an OPS as high as Lowrie?
