Ranaudo pitched his first game, 5 innings, 0 ER in Low A ball today. Hopefully he will develop into a stud. Lester Buch Ranaudo would be a sick top 3 if Ranaudo can develop into a Buch or Lester-type pitcher.

I don't think he'll be the same as last year, but I think through the course of the year, his regression will be met with improved control and increased K/9. He should sit around a 3.30 ERA.

I'm a little surprised. Buchholz blatantly said the Sox had yet to even approach him with a deal as of last month. Either way, great news for the Sox, very glad we got this done.

 

 

Edit: Strange, I never say "we" when it comes to my teams. I guess maybe that is because I'm talking about money(taken from fans like myself), rather than team performance, which I don't have any part in.
