You and me both agreed in the offseason that they should not have settled on Salty.

 

The Crawford signing made zero sense. The money should have been spent on Vmart where he would catch for 2 years then transition to a DH to replace Ortiz.

 

I think what happened was similar to the Lugo signing. The Redsox say the talent and athleticness if thats even a word of this guy but if they seen him every day they would have known both guys were very overrated. That being said Crawford will be just fine he is what he is a decent hitter with speed. The catcher however had been given up by 2 or 3 teams already. Your telling me we couldn't at the very least find a Molina brother?
