sorry for the delay, had a net issues to a due huge snowstorm that hit here yesterday, anyways i'll choose Albert Pujols 2010: $14,595,953

Cot's also has Pujols salary at least 15 million since 2007. I'll see what Dipre thinks, but if ESPN is constantly cheaper than Cot's then it wouldn't be fair to those who list cot's salaries. I'm not accusing anyone of foul play or anything, but using 2 different sites would create an extra variable.

Let him use the ESPN salary. That's the same salary I'll be using.

I mean I'm ok with him using this salary for this one pick, but if ESPN's list is constantly wrong, and constantly cheaper than Cot's, then it isn't fair to those who use Cot's. I'm ok with him using 14.5 million instead of 16 million for Pujols (even though I shouldn't be) but if ESPN screwed up everyone's contract then I'd have to disallow people from using ESPN's contracts.

Before I make my pick, I just want to confirm what salary we are using

Is it Cots or ESPN?

Go figure, Dipre is away right now. Anyway, you can use either if they are right (ie the same), but if they differ I'd get into the habit of using Cot's.

I think ESPN is right, it just doesn't include all the bonuses

USATODAY.com has the same salary for Pujols as ESPN

Alright' date=' fair enough will use cot's salaries. Fine? So does Divinity change his salary now?[/quote']

I personally like Cot's better because it's a lot more detailed. Anyway, just make sure that if you're using the ESPN salaries to check and see if the Cot's salary is the same. I'm going to do some research, but I just checked Longoria's salaries and they were the same. I'd say when in doubt use Cot's, but I'd really want Dipre to give his 2 cents before deciding.

If you have your pick Ytrb, you can make it, just check to see if Cot's and ESPN are the same.

Instead of wasting time checking both I'm jist going to use cot's so theres no confusion.

THat's to the Sox page. You can search by teams on the left.

Italian - I've looked at the picks that I sent to you, and they're all different on Cots and ESPN. I think we're going to run into a lot of variation.

Yeah dude, I looked at a bunch of picks and they are different. Why does Dipre have to be away now? This is going to suck if a lot of picks are made in the interim.

It doesn't really matter which one is "right" just as long as we're all using the same source. I mean, one of my potential picks is $800k less on Cots than ESPN, but then another one of my potential picks is $250k less on ESPN than on Cots.

I'm biased to Cots. The numbers are much more round too :)

I'd say continue using Cot's. At this point we can give Divinity a 1.5 million bank error in his favour, but we should all be using the same site. I wasn't aware that there would be this many differences. Is everyone ok with using Cot's to this point?
