It's not how I pictured a700s voice.

No, a700 does not sound like that. He sounds very intelligent. But with a Brooklyn accent.;)

George King, in this morning's New York Post:

"On every level yesterday, the staggering Yankees converted Yankee Stadium into the world's largest and most expensive toilet bowl."

I s*** you guys not. Pun intended.

If anyone else second guesses what the Sox should've done at the deadline (Joe Morgan)' date=' I'm gonna lose it. These guys need to STFU. WHAT is Morgan talking about? Jesus H...[/quote']

Think of it like this - if Joe Morgan is advocating doing the opposite of what the Sox did, they did the right thing to begin with.

I'm sure he does. Can't help the accent (hence my Southern one) but a700 is very critical/Joe Morgan-esqe. But Morgan never mentioned WHO the Sox should have picked up. But I do like a700 a lot but cannot say the same for Morgan/Miller/Oral......

So many empty seats in NYY land tonight.

yankees fans will assure you that it's not at all because of the outrageous ticket prices but because the new yankee stadium is so awesome that people don't sit in their seats and watch the game, they walk around instead. that somehow makes them seem like better fans

that's funny because the new stadium actually does look strikingly like a toilet from above

Sox fans based here in NYC have been calling Yankee Stadium "the Toilet" for years too. Definitely since 2002...at least that's the first time I heard it here. The only difference now is that it's a newer toilet. (I actually prefer "terlet," in honor of old Archie.) Which is why I thought it appropo when the Wanks signed Swisher.
