Guys I've said multiple times I won't make many picks on the weekend. I apologize for not making picks in a more timely fashion but if it happens again, just skip me and I'll make my picks upon return. I think I've been pretty active during the week, but weekends just don't work as well.

Haha don't worry about it Kilo. You generally make quick picks. I just think that people were surprised since it was NFL Sunday, so most people would be around here or Talkpats. And I don't think that most of us were comfortable skipping you multiple times, although in this case I think it worked out since you came back in time.

 

In any event, I think it would be an honour and a privledge to be co-commissioner of the draft. I will still refer to you Kilo for major changes/ideas, but I'll help take care of the smaller day-to-day stuff.

I have a random question. What happens if one of the players that we selected, if they get a season/career ending injury? Does that effect the status of the people that we ALREADY selected?

It has to be considered when the teams are evaluated, it's like a rookie draft pick getting hurt in training camp.

But it's not fair to the owner that drafted them since they weren't injured at the time of the draft. In my opinion, there is a huge difference between drafting a player that's already injured (ie Bob Sanders), or drafting Tom Brady and then (a few weeks later) having him tear his ACL and being out for a year.
