I hope Vmart is re-signed. He has improved defensively and he looks like he fits in Boston. Not many better offensive catchers in the league.

Salty is not even a good backup catcher. Theo needs to give up on him like the Rangers and the Braves did.

At least the press is writing about it. So much of this season has been about stupid play and poor fundamentals. There is no excuse for it. That is the fault of the manager and the coaches. The other big variable not related to injury was the horrendous bullpen. That was the fault of the FO. The last line of the article indicates that Ortiz was not too happy with last night's half assed effort. The guy doesn't like losing. The fire still burns for him.
