gritty performance by lester. he came off the worst start of his career to pitch in the biggest game of the year and even though he has some of the worst control i've seen from him this season he went 7 innings allowing only 2 hits and 1 unearned run

 

this season rests completely on the shoulders of lester and buchholz

As great as the pitching was tonight, the difference in tonight's game was 2 bonehead running plays and no Carl Crawford. With 7 walks, the outcome might be different if Crawford is in the lineup.

Caught most of this game using the campus high-speed internet connection (Thank you Secretary of higher education) on MLB.TV and it didn't sputter once.

 

Not missing another Sox game (unless i have class) for the rest of this season.
