of course we're have to get to the playoffs first which is seeming more and more unlikely every day, but...

Youkilis is holding out hope that he can return for the playoffs, though hasn't been told that's a possibility by doctors.

Three weeks ago my dad told me he had 2 tickets 3 rows back from the dugout for this game, and that me and my brother could go since he needed to be in LA for work.

One week ago today I had my right ACL reconstructed. I held out hope that I could still make it to the game tonight. Sunday I was still taking about 12 percocets per day to deal with the pain even though it was only becoming a nuisance now, not hurting. It was this point I told my brother to just bring someone else with my ticket.

Yesterday I got my staples out, and my knee has felt terrific since. I could have made it to the game, and now I'm really angry that I'm not there.

Pull rank on your brother's friend and get yourself to the game. People do go to the games in wheelchairs. I guess the meds clouded your thinking. Oh well.

Wow, the pitch zone showed where Buch is hitting, and he got both the top and bottom corners, pretty much right on there, and Abreau still crushed that ball. Even if a run scores here, Buchholz is still looking solid.

Two base runners, and somehow Buchholz only threw 7 pitches, no runs. Weaver will have to be tough to get through them tonite.

And does anyone know the availability of Lowrie? I know that with Pedroia back, he has no spot in the lineup today, but I'm just curious.

There are times you simply have to applaud your opponent. Clap clap Torii Hunter' date=' clap clap.[/quote']

Oh yeah, he's amazing in CF and I respect him, I just wish I watched that on a highlight reel from some West coast game, not at Fenway....
