I win in an absolute blowout, my pitching, starting and relief, absolutely dominates his, he doesn't beat me in a single matchup there, my hitting is better as well, he only beats me at catcher and CF there. His lineup has a speedy #1 and some solid power hitter 3-6, but mine has speed all over it, with a lot of 5 tool players like Evan Longoria, Carlos Gonzalez, Joey Votto, Nelson Cruz, and Alex Rios, and I have power 1-7 and a lot of speed scattered through the lineup

My defense also dominates, UZR is a sabermetric stat that values range of a player in comparison to other players of their position and the plays they make, a + UZR is the number of runs that player has saved with their defense. Over the last couple of years, Evan Longoria, Alexei Ramirez, Nelson Cruz, Alex Rios have had UZR's through the roof. Robinson Cano is having a gold glove caliber season, Carlos gonzalez is playing a good left field, joey votto is improving at first base, and Carlos Santana has thrown out a good percentage of runners from the plate

Overall, I think my team wins this matchup by a lot

I factor in benches only if it's an extremely close matchup and I don't really factor it in much, maybe a couple points either way

I win because I have the speed in my lineup, the power, and pitching and the bullpen.

He has a catcher is batting in the .240 range and isn't that good defensively...Joe mauer is good at both defense and average. Adam Jones is good hitter so my 2-6 are all good power hitters with my leadoff guy a speedy one. Carl Pavano had back back back to back CGs earlier in the season...Heath Bell is one of the reasons the Padres are winning close games...Chris Perez has been good all year and part of last. I think I dominate this matchup. This is the past 2 years so Jered Weaver dominates Mat Latos.

So, based on all the clear mistakes Suns has made, one can conclude that he is both extremely biased, and has been lighting it up

WAINWRIGHT BETTER THAN JIMENZ!?!

Look at some stats buddy

Wainwright

* W-L 17-6

* ERA 1.99

* K 158

* Walks 42

* WHIP 0.97

Jimenez

* W-L 17-3

* ERA 2.55

* K 143

* Walks 64

* WHIP 1.11

Wainwright owns everything other than losses, mainly because Jimenez gets a ton of run support

Stop being a homer.

THE RULES SAY THE LAST 2 YEARS

I shouldn't have been this low, I got cheated out.

Sorry Suns, your team just isn't that good. You started off well and surprised some people but you tanked towards the end. Granted, it looks worse since Youker isn't in the draft, and you're against one of the best teams, but no matter who you faced, you weren't going to win this thing. Your team is decent, it's just not good enough for a seemingly 8 team league.

If my team played his team on Proggressive Field in real life, we would blow his team out.

Well, you could've been the 6 seed, but there were 5 teams clearly better than yours

And you only addressed 2 of the 10+ clear bias mistakes you made

And Verlander's ERA has never been below 3, Price's is, last year he was still developing, if you average last year and this he's still better than verlander, who is extremely inconsistent start to start

And last year Latos didn't even pitch a full season, everything I've seen about him on ESPN thinks he's the real deal, Weaver is good too, but Latos has been better

Anyways, these weren't the worst. The Carlos Gonzalez and Evan Longoria ones were extremely stupid

Sorry I couldn't finish but can I still vote? Oh and you are retarded, if it's last 2 years how is Ubaldo > Waino and Young > Longo?:lol:

You're an idiot, I won by so much benches wouldn't matter, and fine, just to make you happy

Jason Bay OF > Soriano

John Buck C > Wieters

Casey McGahee Util > Cabrera

Luke Scott 1B, OF >> Peralta

Matt Guerrier RP can't compare with Austin Kearns

Soriano sucks now, Cabrera sucks, Peralta sucks, Wieters hasn't proved he can his MLB pitching well, and Kearns is on the bench

That is mostly wrong..Mcgahee better than ZZ? No way

Soriano is better than Bay

Posted

Soriano is a hazard on defense, and is completely one sided, Bay doesn't have a lot of HR, but hits a lot of doubles in roomy Citi Field and was much better than Soriano last year...I'll give you a push on that

And McGahee has 18 HR...Asdrubal has not hit this year at all...

Bench goes to Suns too.

Soriano ten time over Bay. Bay has like what 5 HRS.

Wieters is a really good catcher better than Buck

I give you Ytrb Scott and McGahee

But Guerrier is a pitcher not a bench player so that goes to Suns with Kearns

3-2 Suns on the bench.

Posted
Kearns doesn't even start on his team, he sucks, Wieters is batting .241 this year, But is batting .277 with double the amount of homers
Posted
Offense: 5-3 Suns

SP: 2-2

Bullpen: 4-2 Suns

11-7 Suns

Where are these numbers coming from?

I think bsox means that Bench should actually mean Bench, not pitchers. In other words, if you wanted an extra pitcher, he should be in the bullpen.

To be honest, I agree there. I think that the bench means hitters. So in the case of a tiebreaker, I'd give it to the hitter.

(Not like this match needs a tiebreaker)
