The base wasn't really "given." Indifference is usually just in the 9th inning, where the focus is on inducing the final batters to make outs. There was no throw on that because it was a curveball in the dirt, no sense in even throwing down to 2nd, but say if it was a fastball there definitely would have been a throw.
