Finally we can get rid of Patterson. He had one good game here, but Lowrie is a significant improvement. I'd also love to see Buch get back into the Cy Young race.

Clay got this. Lets just hope our offense can help out a little bit. Yesterday we had 12 hits to the A's 5 hits and still ended up with 4 runs. We also can't afford t blow our keads. We went from 4-0 to 4-5. Hope the umpires aren't blind today.

And Lowrie gets on base. I'd like to see what he can do when he's healthy... he was a .280 hitter for the sox in his first season before his wrist injury.

People have a short memory when it comes to Lowrie. He was pretty good at the plate and close to outstanding at short prior to the wrist injury. If he is healthy, I see no reason to expect anything less from him now. Plus he's a smart kid.
