Under the Radar Stat that hurts the most

1-8 at home against Rays and Skanks

 

Yes its a long season and nothing is over yet but Fenway is where we use to mash teams, now we are 1-8 against the teams we need to make up games against. And to make it even tougher we have pretty much wasted 9 games (the 10th being tonight).

 

My only fear is that when the Pitching comes around, the hitting will go cold. Its not like we've got murders row up there

Because Im upset and feel that this team is playing with no sense of urgency. Also to make the point that while, yes, it is a long season, its getting late quick. I need to blow off my anger somewhere and i figured since people were talking about how a comeback can be made, I wanted to show my anger with fellow fans who could be feeling the same thing

Its not really under the radar, I don't think McCarver and Buck could of shut up about this stat yesterday if they tried. I'm pissed that we keep losing, but we cant keep looking at the past, time to move on to the next game.

A few things,

 

First, the Manny crap is getting old. He isn't coming back, we've got to face the facts. Manny was my favorite player, but he isn't coming back. Even if he did stay, he wouldn't of helped us last year due to a suspension and he has been hurt for most of this season.

No way would they take on Beckett's salary, and they don't need to with Johnson, Nolasco, Volstad.

 

If you want to offload him, try getting a deal with the Cubs. They usually have more money than sense and Zambrano is less than stellar lately.

At the end of the day...err... series it's still May. Dropping a series or 2 doesn't ruin a season. McCarver and Buck are insufferable morons.
