you know I was thinking about that just a second ago but this list was done off the top of my head and tbh I completely forgot about Asomugha who is one of the best to ever play corner and deserves to be on the list every year so my bad on the brain fart, plus there are so many players that deserve to be mentioned its easy to forget the one that plays for the pitiful raiders lol. this list was made slightly easier by Urlacher and Polomalu (sp?) being out.

MVP - Peyton Manning

Comeback POTY - Brett Favre

Defensive POTY - Jared Allen

ROY - Beanie Wells?

COY - Josh McDaniels

Comeback POTY has to be Cedric Benson or Ricky Williams. Maybe even Chad Johnson. What has Brett Favre come back from? A lousy second half and a Hall of Fame career?

22 TD's, 22 INT's.

How is 27 and 7 not "coming back"?

Thats why he would be the 3-5th runner up, most people thought he was done last season and he came back to have a MVP caliber season, granted he is a first ballot HOFer but it was still somewhat of a come back season. And no love for Vernon Davis' season?

Ricky Williams is ancient for a RB and is having one of his best seasons. Here is a guy who squandered his talent for a number of years but has put himself back on the map. Favre never left the map.

Cedric Benson was uninspiring on the Bears and had off-the-field problems. He looked like a classic bust. And yet here he is.

Chad Johnson set a career-low in Y/R last season. It looked like his career was winding down. Now, it looks like he still has a lot left in the tank.

Favre throwing 22 INT is nothing new. He's thrown 21, 23, 23, 24, and 29 before.

Edit: I didn't think Davis really had that down of a year in '08. He had less receptions, but his Y/R was much better than in '07. This season looks more like a breakout year than a comeback.

which is why I had Benson, and Williams above Favre, although I admit I did overlook OchoCinco, but once again you have overlooked Vernon Davis(nvm just read the bottom of your last post), granted he is at a less important position at TE but he still showed classic signs of a bust the past few years and has been one of the better TE's this year. But in the end I gave it to Williams no contest because he's been healthier than Benson this year but those 2 were the top players for this category IMO.

And I think you were right to give it to Williams. He's been healthier than Benson, and he's had a better season.

okay heres one that is rough for me to figure because im not good at rating OL but who would you say has been the best Olineman this season? or the best Offensive Line period? the one name that always comes to me is Saturday, you can see after him being down last year just how important he is to Manning and the Colts Offense but any other suggestions.

We all know Flozell Adams isn't on the list lol.

missed Carson Palmer and Im not sure how but like I mentioned earlier this list is off the top of my head and i missed alot of players Palmer definitely deserves being mentioned.

as for the rookies im horribly uninformed on the issue and Im going off the little I've seen and he came to my head feel free to disagree he wasn't really near the top in my mind anyways so instead of scoffing why not try mentioning someone I didnt mention that you think deserves to be there.

also forgot Brian Cushing and Aaron Curry for the Rookies, lot of great players its hard to remember all of them.

also LeSean McCoy, and the list keeps getting bigger.

EDIT Jeremy Maclin, Johnny Knox, Kenny Britt, do I really need to keep throwing names out there? I did say that my list was imperfect.

EDIT2 Austin Collie, Vontae Davis, Hakeem Nicks, I can keep on going, been alot of talented rookies this year.

Aaron Rodgers has quitley been an amazing QB plus he suffers from a serious lack of an O-Line, he's been hit more than a taiwanese whore.

Posted
Hasn't he been sacked the most of any QB this year?

probably, he's been a sitting duck all year, I felt awful for him when they played the Vikings, he got absolutely destroyed out there and still played a hell of a game.

Yes he has.

At one stage his O-Line was on pace for most sacks in a season. The O-Line has currently allowed 49 sacks, 1st in the league.

The Bills and Chiefs 2nd with 44. Steelers are "3rd" with 43.

And call me a homer, but I honestly believe Ronnie Brown, if he had've stayed healthy, would be in the Top 5 list for RB of the Year.
