I'd like to see how Cleveland and Orlando pan out before I declare "championship or bust" here.

My thoughts:

-Good win vs. a good team, but it still counts as 1. Lets not get carried away.

-The offense looked almost as stagnant as it did towards the end of last year.

-KG was moving better and made quite a few good plays, his lateral movement is looking good right now.

-I can't wait until everyone start clamoring about Wallace jacking up threes.

-Daniels is going to be the most important part of this team, if he plays well, the second unit is gonna be scoring points, not letting up points, and breaking games wide open.

-We may be getting ready to witness one of the best defensive teams ever.

-Nice to see Pierce still hitting the big shots.

Um.

This is a great post.

Daniels is key.

One down. Let's see how the Vets hang in there.

It was good to hear that Rivers does not want to over run his starters to near death.

Also great win on the road. Good to see the bench score and impressive second team this year. Wallace Daniels House and Williams are a great punch off the bench. If we had Big Baby we would be even better right now. He adds a lot of spark off the bench.

Was there a Leon Powe siting for the Cavs. I didn't see him on the bench for them.

When i first saw Daniels i thought it was Moore. lol. the hair and being number 7.

Suns- The refs were not that horrid. You must give them a break. It is their first game of the year because they weren't there for the preseason. Some of the bad calls went against us in the first quarter.

There won't be a Powe sighting for a while unfortunately. Powe was a favorite of mine while he was here and he might not be back until the ASG this year.

that sucks. i really liked him. i wish he was still on the Celtics. would have helped inside.

Glen Davis will be out for a while but last evening they came to play.

Winning there was a 1st in years and should be a big boost mentally, of course nobody has their game legs just yet but I think Oneill was a wasted pickup, hes a shell of himself.

Cleveland Orlando and Boston will battle for the east, I think the Lakers have a pretty easy ride in the west but maybe Utah or Denver will come around and give them a battle in the end.

I was real impressed with Gasol last year and now with Ron Artest the Lakers are better than their title team last year.

There's the police report, which I feel further absolves Davis from being a "moron".

Anyways:

It'll be interesting to see what Doc does after playing Ray 42 minutes in the first night of a back to back.

Or it's a save-face attempt.

Anyways, KG looked pretty good last night.

Didn't look very limited in his vertical jumping or lateral movements.

He looked further along than I thought he was

BUT

He still didn't look that great. His movement was good, and further along than I thought it would be, but he's got a ways to go until he gets back into the KG from 2007.

then again,

I'll take KG @ 60% over none at all.

Agree.

But tbh, i don't think he'll go back to being 100% '07 KG.

Heck of a game by the Celtics. Although in part of the Bulls defense, they had played yesterday night in Chicago and then had to come to Boston. That hurt the Spurs last night when they beat the Hornets and then had to travel to Chicago and play the next night.

Although frankly, the Celtics would have won anyway.

That game was too close.:lol::lol: House impresses me all the time. the Celtics look really good on the defense and the offense. the first quarter left a little to be desired on the Offensive side.

these guys are poised to win 70 games the way they opened this year.

Deep bench, more defined role and confidence in Eddie House and doesnt Sheed Wallace seem like he was here forever? Auerbach never wouldve signed a guy like that but so far hes been a model citizen.

Shaq seems like a pending bust in Cleveland, its time to get Rondo singed up, triple double point guards havent existed since Jordan retired and before that you got Magin and Oscar Robertson.

he plays defense well but lacks the consistant jumper, that will come with time with the good ones.

Theyre good and if they stay healthy theyre going to the finals.

Just got back from the game. Both the C's and Hornets were very sloppy, but what matters is we hit the shots down the stretch. It was troubling that we couldn't pull away with a ten point lead early in the 4th, but we were still able to keep a distance. If everything wasn't falling for Paul and Peja tonight it would have been a 30 point blow out.

You kidding? Red makes this signing every day of the week.

I missed the game.

Did the Celts win?

Celts looked sloppy?

if you delete the third quarter and the first part of the 4th it was really well played.

^^Eww.. not at all.

They didn't go for the kill. They had about 4 or 5 chances to increase the lead and bust it open but just got sloppy and complacent.

when Sheed threw the pair of passes to the defense and the turnovers killed us(not the apple ones.:D:lol:)

Maybe.

He would certainly investigate the move.

Red was into having the "Horses" to win. Sheed is such a horse.

He brought several miscreants to Boston. Sidney, X-Man, etc.

The more I think about it, yes.
