How will this effect Theo's pursuit of Adrian Gonzalez? I think it makes it less likely that the Sox will be able to acquire Gonzalez.

It might help actually. They obviously have a good relationship. If it were to happen the Sox would certainly have to pay out the ass though. Hoyer knows the Sox system inside and out, so surely he's got a few favorites who he wouldn't mind bringing in to start his own regime with. Who knows though.

 

I think Kim Ng should have gotten the job though.
